Move your family overseas with only what you can take on the plane & see what "essential" really is.

No doubt, Paul. We moved overseas for a couple of years and were allowed to bring only 500 lbs. of stuff with us. Granted, it's not as hard when you get to keep the rest of the stuff in storage, but it's still a challenging exercise.

our box-o-mystery is a glass bottle with small folded papers, all containing one bigger or smaller task that needs to be done in/around the house. Which reminds me... as it's put behind a curtain I haven't seen it the last month until your post reminded me! Thanks (of course it also means that it might not be a good idea to put a box-o-mystery behind a curtain

Great variation on the theme, Arjan! It sure helps to add a bit of fun and mystique to dreaded tasks.

Does anyone get to put things into the bottle? And can you put one back in if you don't like it, or is it a "you touch it, you own it" system?
